iNature cases will protect your iPhone in an eco-friendly wayAs cellphone contracts come up for renewal most people look for a new phone to replace their last one.  One of the top phones to consider is the iPhone and when you purchase a new phone, you always have to get a new case.  INature has developed a fashionable protective case out of biodegradable plastic.

The iNature case, made in Italy, resembles other cases on the market in that it comes in a variety of colors, has cutouts for keys and camera, and is fits the phone like a glove.  In two years when you move on from your current iPhone, your iNature case can be tossed with the knowledge that it will soon biodegrade rather than living in a landfill forever.

The company set out to create a product that was functional, fashionable, and eco-friendly.  The case does an excellent job of protecting the iPhone or at least does the job as well as other plastic and silicon cases do.  It comes in a variety of colors that should fulfill the fashion factor.  There are a number of ways that the case is eco-friendly, all of which will be covered below.

According to Gizmag the iNature is made from an Italian certifiable biodegradable plastic called ApinatWikipedia defines biodegradable plastics as follows:

Biodegradable plastics are plastics that will decompose in natural aerobic (composting) and anaerobic (landfill) environments. Biodegradationof plastics occurs when microorganisms metabolize the plastics to either assimilable compounds or to humus-like materials that are less harmful to the environment.[1] They may be composed of either bioplastics, which are plastics whose components are derived from renewable raw materials, or petroleum-based plastics which contain additives.

The idea was that iNature cases would have “zero impact” on the environment. To that end, the company uses packaging that is recyclable and the product uses natural, non-toxic colors.  As far as the production process is concerned, the company says that “production is carried out carefully and is well pondered”, whatever that means.

If you are interested in purchasing an iNature case, the closest distributor is MedComputer.net in the UK.

As the site says, “Pleasant to touch, it leaves easy access to all the connectors and buttons for normal functionality. The attractive colors, its minimal design and the Apple logo visible on the back cooperate in making it even more trendy and unique.”  Maybe just what you need for that new iPhone you’ve been eyeing.
