Get rid of all of your chargers with the ChargeHub

March 11, 2010

Get rid of all your chargers with the ChargeHub The ChargeHub lets you charge five different gadgets at the same time.  That frees up numerous outlets and clears away lots of wires.  You don’t need to go looking for that camera charger that you “stuck somewhere,” you just need the appropriate adaptor.  The ChargeHub will also save you energy since only one charger is drawing electricity and not two or more.

Teleadapt’s ChargeHub has twelve 10” cables only five of which can be used at a time.  The cables can be fitted with adaptors for more than 2,000 different devices from dozens of different manufacturers.  Should you not be able to find a particular adaptor, it also has a USB port.

The ChargeHub is intended to be mounted on a counter, cabinet, desk, drawer or wall.  The six foot power cord that it comes with should be able to reach an outlet wherever you mount it.  Once placed, the ChargeHub should eliminate most of your other chargers.  Since the ChargeHub is marketed primarily to commercial enterprises like hotels, mounting is not unexpected.

Chargers as a general rule don’t have labels with brand names on them or to what specific gadget it goes.  I have boxes of chargers that I am afraid to get rid of because I know they go to some gadget but I just don’t know which one.  A lot of the gadgets that the extra chargers go to may have already been recycled or given away.

This isn’t a problem with ChargeHub.  Although it is promoted as a “guest amenity” for hotels, it works just as well for families.  It comes with labels so that you can tell which of the twelve cables goes to which device.  Most homes and businesses don’t have twelve devices that they need to charge at the same time so being able to charge only five at a time should not be a problem.  The other great thing is you never have to search for your charger.

Replacing multiple chargers with just one charger could save you money on your power bill.  Chargers that are left plugged in still draw vampire power so that it will be ready to go whenever you do plug it in.  Less outlets used, few  chargers used means lower electric bills.

In families where everyone has their own camera, mp3 player, phone, portable game system, and/or a pager or two, having an ability to dedicate a cord/adaptor to each individual device could cut down on panic, arguments, high blood pressure and headaches.  Overall, family dynamics could be improved by simply buying a ChargeHub.  Then again your family is probably better organized than mine.

Since it can cost a pretty penny to replace lost or misplaced chargers, trust me on this, paying $100 for this device might just save your families sanity as well as your checkbook.
